This free seminar will be presented from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Tampa Sailing Squadron. This course discusses the Race Committee's goals as well as sailor's expectations in a sailboat race and focuses on the definitions and other key rules and race signals important to the sailor as well as the preparation for and administration of a sailboat race or regatta. Jerry Thompson, the course instructor, is a US Sailing Regional Race Officer, National Judge, Basic Race Management Instructor, and member of the US Sailing Race Management Committee.
